Dining at Nikolai's Roof at the Top of the Hilton

Let’s talk about dining goals. First off, I love eating somewhere that not only has amazing food, but also has an amazing view. Which brings me to my introduction of Nikolai's Roof, which resides at the top of the Hilton in downtown Atlanta. Founded back in 1976, this restaurant has been a staple of ATL and I can’t believe I never tried it until now.

While I truly wish I could have ordered everything on the menu, I tried the following items during my dining experience:

  • Diver Scallops

  • The Seared Grouper, which was nestled on top of golden quinoa, english pea pesto, baby squash and fava beans. To top it off, chef drizzled a berry buerre blanc on top of the fish.

  • The Beef Tenderloin, which came with a side of farro risotto, mushrooms and brussel sprouts. It was topped with a red wine demi glace.

Not going to lie - I honestly can’t pick a favorite out of all of the things that I tried. I will say if you are going to go - definitely look into their Chef’s Menu options where you can do a three course, four course or even five course dining experience.

Curious in trying out Nikolai’s Roof? I would definitely go back for a special date night, to celebrate your bestie’s big promotion at work or when you have family in town.
