The Best ATL Coffee Shops

A day without coffee is like...just kidding I have no idea what that's like.

Coffee is an essential part of my day and I think that's how it is for most ATLiens. What's awesome about ATL is that no matter where you are, there is a local coffee shop nearby. Although it was harder to choose than I thought, I've pulled together a list of my top 5 favorite coffee shops in ATL. I'd love to hear what you think!

  1. Chrome Yellow Trading Co - Tucked away in Old Fourth Ward, Chrome Yellow is a good spot to bring your laptop to have a cup of coffee and get some work done, or bring your dog to enjoy an iced coffee in their outdoor seating area on a nice day. It makes my top 5 list because not only do they offer a mean cup of coffee, they also have some yummy snacks and some pretty cool staff. What to order here: Almond milk latte or a regular cup of coffee.
  2. Chattahoochee Coffee Company - This place has one of the best lavender lattes I have ever had. With its first location right on the river and another one in Westside, they make their coffee available to people in different areas of the city. They have a number of seasonal drinks that will change periodically, but their core is always there and always delicious. What to order: Iced lavender latte.

3. Rev Coffee - Rev Coffee is impossibly not to love. Tucked away in the "burbs" (aka Smyrna), it's a great spot to work from home while enjoying a blueberry scone and a cup of your favorite coffee. What to order: A caramel brûlée latte. If you stay in the store you can get it in the super cool mug, which I have pictured below.

4. Dancing Goats - Dancing Goats holds a special place in this coffee lover's heart. Located at Ponce City Market, in Midtown and in Downtown Decatur, one of my favorite things about DG is how many flavors they offer to add into your coffee. What to order: Caramel or strawberry latte.

5. Corso Coffee - Last, but certainly not least is Corso Coffee. For the perfect energy boost while you hit the Shops of Buckhead, stop in and try some of their awesome coffee while treating yourself to one of their great sandwiches and/or macaroons. What to order: A mocha latte.

Have you been to any of these coffee shops? Would love to hear if any of these are your favorite or what your favorite shop is!
